As another client has stated, the cargo carrier will tend to hit the ground with most SUV or smaller vehicles. The angle of the shank is not enough to compensate for a loaded cargo carrier's affects on the vehicle's suspension. I'm thinking I'll have to modify the receiver so the carrier sits angled upwards slightly to avoid ground strikes over speed bumps or transitioning to an elevated parking lot. Besides that, the carrier does tend to lean left or right; it's almost impossible to correct this as it's due to it being almost impossible to balance a load across the carrier. A shank stabilizer helps, but isn't perfect. Overall, a good product.

Love the extra cargo space, but... The angle of the shank prevents rubbing, but only for very light loads. I understand this is different for each vehicle, but my 2020 Subaru Outback's suspension is clearly not strong enough to go anywhere near the 500lbs maximum. During my last use, the basket would rub every time I would go into a parking lot with even a very slight angle. This situation is partly caused by the generous space between the basket and the rear bumper. It's great to be able to easily have access to the trunk of the car with the basket down (approx. 12"), but this extra space creates a lot of leverage on the suspension. It also diminishes clearance when the car is at an angle.

On inspection some outer boxes had some tears etc. which is common with shipper/receiving care but does require you to examine shipment prior to signing off from courier. WOW! That's really all I have to say about my experience in dealing with this company. As a first time customer, I wasn't sure what to expect. Once I placed my order, I received an email the next day advising they were out of stock and asking how I wanted to deal with this. Did I want the one part available now or did I want to wait for both items? Or did I want to change to a different item? I thought "oh, great, here we go"! But I thought, ok, I'll wait for both items and have them shipped together. The next morning before I even opened my emails for the day, there was my new carrier &a hitch outside my garage door!
