INSTALLING A TRAILER HITCH ON 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE XL

Written by Hitchweb Team Monday, May 8, 2017

IS THERE A TRAILER HITCH FOR THE 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE XL?

At this time, aftermarket manufacturers such as Curt and Draw-Tite are stating that a trailer hitch is not yet available for the XL. Our customer decided to try the Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Part #13153 and had positive results. Here is what he had to say and pictures of the installation below:

Ordered this hitch for my Santa Fe XL 2017 and it worked out just great. Fit like a glove. There's a bit of spacing but I don't think that matters much, maybe 1/4"-1/8" on one side of spacing but with all the done, looks smooth

Reese discontinued #26001 and replaced it with the #26002 which has a completely different mounting style.

Written by Hitchweb Team Wednesday, March 15, 2017

Our customer asked us: I have a Rhino-Rack Vortex roof rack system and canoe carrier that use different keys. Can I setup my system so they all use the same key?

The answer is yes! The Masterkey system allows you to swap out the existing locks to make all your Rhino-Rack roof racks, carriers, and accessories keyed alike. These can also be added to racks with plastic locks for increased security. Available in the Crossbar Replacement Parts section of our site, these kits come with 2,4 or 8 cores and 2 keys.

How to Safely Transport Bikes in my Truck Bed?

Written by Hitchweb Team Wednesday, March 8, 2017

Rather than laying your bikes down on their sides in your truck box you can secure your bicycle in a truck bed bike rack for easy and safe transport. With our fork style pickup bed racks from Rhino Rack and Swagman you'll just need to lock your forks to the bar and hit the road! Not only is this a much safer way to transport your bike, it also prevents what can be a very valuable investment from getting banged around and scratched during transport.

One of our most popular truck bed racks - the PATROL from Swagman - is a great choice for any pickup!
